Exhibition: Kern Baby – 11th March to 7th June

Check out a new exhibition at the Library of Birmingham, launched earlier this month. ‘Kern Baby’ is a 5 metre high corn dolly, created by artist Faye Claridge, who uses archives, folklore and reminiscence to examine our past relationships and our current sense of national and personal identity in her work. She also made a series of photographs, ‘A Child For Sacrifice’, inspired by photographer Sir Benjamin Stone’s work from over a century ago.
